KAYAK ADVENTURE ON THE TONLE SAP LAKE

Nature lovers have long since discovered the Tonle Sap Lake for themselves. The lake is already well known, but in its shadow there are still beautiful waters and natural surroundings that are less frequented. Exploring nature on the water, you will start to learn the basics of kayaking on the river, jungle, and lake. Afterwards you dip the paddles into the water and flow with the water - this lets you become a part of the expansive nature. In between, you simply let yourself drift or rest on the shore, with opportunities for learning about the ecosystem and the impact of climate change from the communities. The overnight stay takes place in the homestay of the local communities.

Eligibility:

• Between 18 and 35 of age,
• Have interest in kayaking and adventure,
• Want to protect the environment and engage with local communities,
• Good physical fitness: you must be a good swimmer, the camp is not suitable for non-swimmers,
• ASEAN citizens.

Camp Fee:

• 40 USD

YEP-Academy provides the following needs:

• Camping/outdoor equipment and training materials,
• Facilitation costs,
• Overnight fees,
• Food (will be provided during the entire camp)
• Transportation (round trip from the departure point in Siem Reap to the campsite).
