About the Program

Down to Earth: Soil for Climate Action is a 3-day outdoor learning camp that reconnects participants with soil as a living system and a foundation for climate action. Through hands-on practices, nature immersion, and group reflection, participants explore the link between soil, ecosystems, food, and climate change, and discover how everyday actions can contribute to soil regeneration and a more resilient future.

  • Deepen Ecological Understanding: Develop a holistic understanding of soil as a living system and its critical role in climate resilience and carbon sequestration.

  • Cultivate Collective Climate Agency: Build confidence and shared responsibility to take meaningful climate action at individual, community, and ecosystem levels.

  • Enhance Nature-Based Awareness & Connection: Strengthen sensory awareness, ecological sensitivity, and emotional connection to the ground beneath our feet.

  • Translate Awareness into Action: Apply practical soil regeneration methods and develop realistic action pathways that extend beyond the camp experience.
