CLIMATE ALERT TRAINING

Climate change is the major challenge humanity is facing nowadays. It is not possible to stop, but rather to know more about it and be prepared for the new reality. Gear up for eco-challenges, sustainability activities, and hands-on conservation activities that will empower you to make a real impact on climate change. From immersive nature hikes to cutting-edge eco-tech experiments, every moment is a step towards a greener, healthier future.

• Comprehend the fundamentals of climate change, including the 3W1H (what, when, why, and how) questions on climate change,
• Aware of the current situation in local & global contexts,
• Conscious about your actions impacting the environment,
• View the actual scenario in the coastal community and people who experience it,
• Understand the importance of biodiversity to the climate and meet the community,
• Climate talks and experience sharing next to the bonfire,
• Brings together like-minded people who share the same values and interests,
• Enhances your experience of setting up the camp and sleeping in the tent.

Eligibility:

• Between 18 and 35 of age,
• Passionate about environmental protection,
• Love nature and relevant challenges,
• ASEAN citizens.

Camp Fee:

• 40 USD

YEP-Academy provides the following needs:

• Camping/outdoor equipment and training materials,
• Facilitation costs,
• Overnight fees,
• Food (will be provided during the camp)
• Transportation (round trip from the departure point in Phnom Penh to Koh Kapi).
