CLIMATE ALERT

Climate change is one of the major challenges that humanity is currently experiencing. It is not possible to stop it; instead, one must gain more knowledge about it, be ready for the new reality, and maintain control over it. Get ideas for the necessary actions by joining our Climate Alert in a unique outdoor setting.

By taking part in this Climate alert training outdoors, you will:

• comprehend the fundamentals of climate change, including the 3W1H (What, When, why, and How) questions on climate change;
• get information on the current situation in local and global contexts;
• becomes conscious of your actions that impact the environment;
• learn the actual scenario in the coastal community;
• understand sustainable lifestyles; 
• talk and exchange ideas about climate change next to the bonfire;
• be together with like-minded people who share the same values and interests;
• enhance your experience of setting up camp and sleeping in the tent.

Eligibility:

• 18 - 35 years old
• Loves the environment and want to engage with like-minded people
• No prior knowledge about climate change

Camp Fee:

• 25 USD

YEP-Academy provides the following needs:

• Food (seven meals during the camp);
• Transportation (round trip from YEP office in Phnom Penh to the campsite);
• Camping equipment and training materials
• Trainer's fee
